Hi everyone,

I Picked up a pair of Dynastar 4x4 offroad ski's for a few golden nuggets to try out the sport and they are fitted with Salomon 557 bindings. I've moved the rear binding right back as far as it will go (there is a raised part to prevent it going back off the runner) but I can't get the boot (size 8/9) into the binding, it needs to go back about another half inch i reckon.

Any ideas what I need to do here? I am a complete ski noob... seriously!

Sounds like the bindings need remounting. Should be done by a ski technician who will also fill the original holes with plugs. Not a big job, but needs doing properly.

Always best when buying used skis to check what length of boot they are set up for and how much adjustment is available.
