Get ready to SHRED the gnar!

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

As one historical snow event comes to an end, Vancouver Olympics 2010 – another is set to commence!  A hot new ski and snowboarding website is set to Shred on March 1st .

Giving its members the ‘powder’ to share more videos, photos, forum topics, and access the most recent snow job listings.  Shred is the fresher, deeper and steeper version of Snowforum.

Snowforum has been connecting, entertaining and informing skiers and snowboarders since 2007. Now, its thousands of members can enjoy a new edge to their old faithful.

“Being a skier, I wanted an interactive site that would bring everything together, whether I wanted to contact other skiers, view a video, find the best holiday deals, an awesome apres bar…or a job, I wanted it all in one place – Shred fits the bill and the best bit; it’s clean, easy to navigate and not cluttered with advertisements” said skier and Shred director Ashley Bowling.

Shred has been designed as a global portal where skiers and snowboarders can come together for all things snow in one dedicated forum. It’s still FREE to join, the regularly updated content is easy to navigate, and there are no annoying advertisements.

“Shred is like getting a fresh pow run on a blue bird day, it offers its members an awesome ride that you will want to revisit day in day out.” said Ashley.

Visit Shred or follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
